Some will say he’s the “cute smart guy” and others the “outspoken people’s pleaser” but no matter the person, someone who’s about his business. Born in Nashville, TN, Brandon (Lamont), was raised by his loving mother and grandmother who were both god-fearing, unconditional loving mothers who instilled in him perseverance and respect for others.
After barely graduating from Martin Luther King Magnet High School due to a missed credit that wasn’t addressed until weeks before his graduation, he went on to attend The University of Tennessee - Knoxville focusing in Human Resource Management and Marketing. With his eagerness to get involved, he joined the Student government association where he went on to become the first African American to chair the Freshman Council. From there it was history. Elected to the Chancellors Citation Commission and later the Homecoming Committee Co-Chair, it was there he took the initiative and to cut budget, downloaded photoshop and made his first digital flyer.“I had no clue what I was doing. So like everything else in school, I googled “How To’s” until I finished the design efforts” he says, “I fell in love.” Utilizing social media to display his design work, the feedback was overwhelming and he realized this was his calling. “ It wasn’t until relocating to Atlanta
GA in 2013, that he would realize his talent was bigger than him.
From a catch phrase - to a trend, he curated [Zaddy. Apparel] - a brand who’s promise is quality, confidence and resilience. To be Zaddy. Is to exude an energy that reflects those of both kings and queens - one who earns the respect of their peers through their zealous confidence, alluring appearance and unapologetic conviction.
A branding guru, graphic designer, sales manager and entrepreneur - he’s sure to keep an eye on in this decade. “I’m just a young entrepreneur charged with helping other CEO’s obtain and maintain their dreams” - a creative visionary.
